Big news guys — Tickets are officially on sale for 2014 TEDxSalem.
You may remember that last year, we sold out RIDICULOUSLY quickly. We have many many more this year, so please, feel free to buy one for yourself, your significant other, your best friend, your mom, dad … you get the point.
They’re $50 a pop for a full day of learning, memories and new friendships.
Get them here. The event is set for 9 a.m. Sept. 13 at the Historic Elsinore Theatre.
Our theme this year is moxie. So you already know this isn’t going to be any ordinary day. We’re going to bring some spunk to your day, and you should definitely bring yours too.
This is how co-organizer Brian Hart described this year’s theme: “We picked the theme ‘Moxie’ because it is defined as a force of character, determination, courage and energy, which are all things we want in our speakers, our TEDxSalem event and our Salem community.”
Huge thanks to Von Glitschka, who designed our theme logo. He also happens to be a 2013 alumnus of TEDxSalem.
What’s next: Today was the deadline for speaker applications, so you should be hearing about the speaker committee’s selections as the weeks go on.
Keep in touch with the organizers on the Facebook page.
